I’m the hairdresser behind Velvet Moth. My approach is to listen first, look at what your hair is actually doing now, and then recommend what makes sense for the result you want, your hair condition, your maintenance preferences and your budget.

Where is Velvet Moth located?
Velvet Moth is a private, home-based salon in the Moreton Bay area. The exact address and arrival information are supplied after your appointment is confirmed.
What if I do not know which service to book?
Use the booking concierge and describe what you would like to change. If your request cannot be matched confidently to a listed service, it will be sent to the salon for personal review.
Can I request a quieter appointment?
Yes. You are welcome to chat, relax, use your phone or enjoy a quieter appointment. There is no expectation to make conversation throughout your visit.
How do I change or cancel an appointment?
Use the contact concierge for help with an existing booking. Cancellation and rescheduling conditions are explained in the Booking Terms.
Will I need a skin or strand test?
Some colour and lightening services may require testing before the appointment. Velvet Moth will let you know when this is needed for your selected service.
Will the price be discussed before the service begins?
Yes. The current service menu shows the listed pricing, and any recommended changes or additional work will be discussed with you before proceeding.
